TIPS WHEN BUYING SOMETHING:
Always discuss it specially if buying big ticket items or large purchases
Wait a couple of days/months depending on price
Do not buy it immediately, write it down and wait at least 2 days to see if you really need it
If you really need it... find something in the house that can be used as a substitute
If it is something that you need only once.... try and borrow it
Still need to buy? Start with used.... look at Craig-list a "buy nothing group" or Facebook buy and sell groups or garage sales
If the only way is to buy new... find the best price
